Used headlight module. This controls the headlight door operations. Fits the following applications:

TECH TIP : The headlight module is a current sensing switch that turns on the headlight motors when the headlight switch is engaged to "on". When the motors rotate and reach the stop on the headlight assembly, the amperage at the motor will exceed the specified parameter in the module, and then the module will shut off the motor. When the headlight switch is turned to "off", the module will then reverse the power to the headlights and spin them down. Again, once the motors hit the stops, the excessive current will cause the module to turn off the motors. Some common issues with the motors are stripped gears (93-02 models) and worn bushings (87-92 models), which typically cause the motors to run for additional time since the amperage doesn't reach the specified parameter to shut off the motor and then "time's out". Since the headlight switch operates the module as well as the lift motor current, it is essential to diagnose all the wiring prior to assuming your module is faulty.
