1984 and older models had grilles in the front bumpers. 82-84 models had slotted grilles, and Aero models had flat covers that replaced the grilles. There were many variations of 78 and older grilles, though they look similar. Some have a honeycomb design, some small squares, some large squares, all depending on the year.
