Hatches were on 82-02 models, trunk lids (or deck lids) were on 81 and older models. 82-92 models had a glass hatch with metal trim, 93-02 models had a glass hatch with fiberglass trim. 85-86 models had a 3rd brake light on the outside of the glass, 91-92 models had the 3rd brake light on the inside of the glass, 87-90 as well as 93-02 models had the 3rd brake light in the rear spoiler. You can install the Z28 spoiler on the standard model hatches as long as you match the 3rd brake light. 93-02 models had the same spoiler, base Camaro and Z28. Both the 96-97 and 98-02 Camaro SS spoilers can be bolted in place of the stock Camaro and Z28 spoiler.
